AWA, Albanian Web Designer Award, is the first award dedicated to Web Designers, professional and not, in Albania by PM Works Corporation. It’s important because it’s not only the first in the country but also it will improve both Albanian Web Designing and the informatics. The award will be placed in Pallati I Kulturës, Vlorë, in August 2007. Web Designer from all Albania will meet in this place for the first AWA. The subject of web design is Albania. The prize? The money of proceeds and a link to PM Works web site. So more enter and more prize.
History
AWA was born from the desire of its inventor, Pasion Mura, to improve the computer science in Albania. The first idea was to start something like a open school via Internet, but at the time there is no a lot of people who have an Internet connection. Because of his passion for Web Designing, born the AWA idea. It was planned to start the first AWA edition in Vlorë, in 2007, but not founding founds it was delayed for the other year 2008, hoping to find enough founds.

AWA, the first AWA edition, will take place in Vlorë, Albania, always if we'll find all the neccessary founds to start the event.
